Glen Attewell is the Chief Executive Officer of Tesco Bengaluru, the operations and technology centre for Tesco and a leading global multi-channel retailer. As a leader, Glen’s retail insight and operational expertise strengthens Bengaluru's culture of innovation, ramps up in-house capabilities and enables greater value in the global business. In his role, Attewell works closely with the Group and the Leadership Teams to continue Tesco Bengaluru’s efforts to strengthen Tesco’s multichannel strategy.
Glen has been with Tesco for 30 years in a variety of UK and international roles, including positions in several of Tesco’s businesses in Asia. In Glen’s last role as the Commercial Director in Fresh Food and Clothing, Tesco (Homeplus Korea), he successfully delivered sustained margin growth over eight years. With modest experience in softline experience, Glen was responsible for turning around the Homeplus clothing business.
Prior to this, as a Commercial Director (Food & Non-food), Glen spearheaded the commercial integration of Tesco’s largest ever acquisition and in the process, created a number of very high performing Commercial teams.
Glen holds an MBA in Retailing from the University of Sterling and an MSc in Operational Research from the University of Birmingham. He pursued an Honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Sheffield and comes with almost 32 years of strong industry experience. He is a British national and is married with three children. Rekha joined Tesco Bengaluru in 2005 as IT Delivery Manager – India. In this role she managed various programmes such as building engineering and service capability at Tesco Bengaluru in the supply chain domain and delivering complex step-change programmes to the Tesco Group in an onsite-offshore model. She then moved on to an IT Delivery and Operational Leadership role at Tesco Bengaluru where she managed multiple IT verticals such as Payroll and Personnel, Supply Chain, Distribution, MIS, Integration and Infrastructure. In 2012, Rekha moved in to the role of IT Director and in this role she was accountable for IT Delivery and Operations for all functions except Online for Tesco Group. In September 2013, Rekha took on her current role at Tesco Bengaluru as Director - Group Application Support (Stores and Online) and Tesco Bank.
Rekha brought to Tesco 14 years of IT experience from organizations such as iGate, CGI and Hindustan Petroleum.

Tilak is the Engineering Lead for General Merchandising Online and is responsible for design and development of features for GM Online. Tilak led the development for the initial launch of GM Online in March 2012 and since then his team has delivered multiple releases of GMO. He led his team in 2013 in a move to Agile Development Methodology and Service Oriented Architecture due to which the team has been able to deliver a higher frequency of customer releases.
Prior to joining Tesco, Tilak had begun a Rules Engine technology firm called Nisus. He then joined Sapient Corporation as Technology Practice Lead, where he led the delivery of e-commerce sites for large retail clients.

Vidya Laxman is Technology Director at Tesco Bengaluru. She is member of the Technology Management Group, in the core CSR committee and board of Tesco Bengaluru. Prior to Tesco Bengaluru, Vidya spent nearly 3 years as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Thoughtworks Studios division, where she managed the global operations that included development, finance, human resources, public policy, and communications. She also supported marketing, and sales efforts in the local market. Earlier, she worked in companies like Sunguard, Wachovia Bank and Fidelity.
Vidya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer engineering from RVCE, Bangalore. She is very active in different bodies like National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM), American Chambers of Commerce, etc. She is on the advisory board of Anita Borg Institute (GraceHopper) – Women in technology. She is passionate about social causes and is actively engaged in her local community.
